This documentary chronicles the life of African American star athlete Johnny Bright who changed college football forever. Despite experiencing one of the most egregious acts of violence in the history of sports in 1951, Bright carved out his own path in life to enjoy a Hall of Fame career in the Canadian Football League. But Bright’s most significant accomplishment may have been as an educator, a coach, and a principal, positions where he influenced the lives of hundreds of kids.
