In Prince Caspian, the four Pevensie children (Peter, Edmund, Susan and Lucy) return to Narnia one year after their first adventure in the magical world. They learn that 1300 years have passed in Narnia and that there is a struggle for the kingdom of Narnia that threatens the talking animals and assorted magical creatures living there. It is up to them, as former rulers, to restore Prince Caspian to the throne and peace to Narnia. The second of the Chronicles of Narnia, it was first published in 1951.
