In The Magician’s Nephew, two children, Digory and Polly, are tricked into going to a magical world by Digory’s mischievous, conniving Uncle Andrew. While there, Digory succumbs to temptation and sets an evil queen free from a magic spell. The evil queen follows the children back to their world, intending to take it over by force with the help of Uncle Andrew. The children return to the magical world, hoping to return the queen where they found her, but instead find a mysterious large lion, and a new world at the dawn of its creation.
