From an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, Losing Sight of Shore follows the extraordinary journey of four brave women, known as the Coxless Crew, who set out to row across the Pacific Ocean from America to Australia. After four years of extensive mental and physical training, the crew is ready to embark on the great unknown. The journey takes place in three stages: San Francisco to Hawaii, Hawaii to Samoa, and Samoa to Australia. The Coxless Crew row 24 hours a day, in 2-hour shifts no matter the conditions: four-story waves, a tropical storm, and an endless ocean all around.
